If you want your blog to be found on search engines you need to get your blog indexed by search engines because even blogs are made to be read by people they must find a way of finding your blog, so I will tell you some tips how to be indexed in different search engines…
How to be indexed by Google:
You can go to http://www.google.com/addurl/ then fill in the form there. Depending upon the content in your site Google will index your site.
How to be indexed by Yahoo:
Go to https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit/ (you need to sign up and have a yahoo ID to continue). Choose ‘Submit a Website or Webpage' and enter your website address (homepage) and click submit URL button.
How to be indexed by MSN:
Go to: http://search.msn.com.sg/docs/submit.aspx. Fill in the form and submit the form.
Other ways to be indexed by search engines:
Your blog can still be in search engines if you can join a popular and high page ranked forum site and go to your profile to create a signature. In your signature, include your URL and a description of your site. Try to use your best keywords in the URL. Keywords in the URL are important to the search engines than just standard text in the description. Then just post and post. This is also helpful in link building, because each one of your posts will count as a link in the search engines. Now you can quickly and easily be indexed by all major search engines.
How to check if your site has been indexed by search engines:
You can check if your blog is now indexed in search engine by just going in the homepage of a search engine and just typing site:your_site_address.com in the search box.
