Odesk is a freelancing website that offers job wherein you can work part-time or even full-time in your house plus you earn dollars. You can find jobs in Odesk by category such as web and software developer, writing, administrative support, design and multimedia, sales and marketing, costumer service and many more.
So I signed up in Odesk last September and I try to complete my profile to impress the employers then I look for a simple data entry job. It took me 3 days to land my first job but it pays a very low salary so after getting enough experience in working in Odesk I look for a much better job. Then I took me another 2 weeks (you really need to be patient when looking for a job) with almost 30 application sent in 30 different job posting to land a nice job. It was a web research job with data entry. I was very glad to have a much better salary per hour and after working for this job in a week I earned 170$ (not bad for a beginner like me).
